How can I tell a teddy from a Bichon Frise

2018-03-29 11:12:48

The teddy dog and the Bichon Frise are two breeds of dogs, but in childhood, it is very difficult to distinguish easily, often confused, so what is the difference between the teddy dog and the Bichon Frise?

Methods/Steps
1

Body type Teddy dog: the legs are longer, the height and body length are equal, and the dog is square. At 2 months of age, the poodle is slightly larger (except for the toy type Baiki). Bichon Frise: Shorter legs, stronger, rounder looking, 1/4 longer than height, rectangular. At 2 months of age, the bichon Frise is smaller than the poodle.

2

Tail poodle: to cut the tail, shape into a ball, straight tail, continuous tail will not be carried on the back. Poodles have thinner tail tips and noticeably thinner tail hair. Bichon Frise: The tail is long and must be carried on the back. It's thicker than a bear dog's tail, and it's bushy.

3

Eared Poodles: Large ears, at eye level or slightly lower, no larger and thinner than those of male dogs, many white poodles have ears that are not the same color as the back coat. Bichon Frise: Small ears, slightly higher than eye level, covered with long, wavy hair. The Bichon Frise's ears and coat are of the same color and are large, wide and thick.

4

Bone mass poodle: very light, has obvious feeling. Bichon Frise: Very heavy.

5

Mouth Poodle: Characterized by a long, pointed, slightly upturned mouth, the length of the snout is equal to the distance from the snout to the pillow. Bichon Frise: The mouth is much shorter than that of the poodle, the face is wide, the bite is wider than that of the poodle, and the length of the snout is 3/5 of the length of the snout to the pillow.

6

Eyes Poodle: Oval peach-shaped, eyes wide apart. Bichon Frise: The eyes are round, the outside of the eyes and the nose form a triangle, which looks larger than the bear's eyes than the VIP's.

7

Poodle: The coat is curly, naturally rough and densely covered. Juvenile poodles are relatively straight. Bichon Frise: Soft fur, with a touch of velvet and velvet, and dense. A young Bichon Frise has a curly coat.

8

Head poodle: Relatively small under the clean face. Bichon Frise: Relatively large under the clean face.

9

Fur poodle: Red, chocolate, black, white, champagne, gray, blue, etc. Bichon Frise: White.

10

Personality Teddy dog: very smart, is the kind of well-behaved agile. Bichon Frise: One of the more straightforward, clingy and docile types.

Matters needing attention

Although it is not easy to distinguish between the teddy dog and the Bichon Frise at an early age, the difference will gradually become apparent as the teddy dog and the Bichon Frise grow up.
